How to Run Php File in Localhost Xampp

 First open xampp control panel and start apache and mysql

Now go to htdocs and create a folder without giving space

Now go inside the folder and create a text document

Edit the text document with notepad++

Put the code 

Save the file as new.php

Go to browser and type localhost/helloworld/new.php

helloworld is my folder name
